Need a new lunch spot in Ballston? Try the newly opened craft sandwich shop, Poppyseed Rye. The menu features both handheld sandwiches and toasts, as well as salads, charcuterie boards, and some super tasty sides to add to your spread. 

Favorite sandwiches right off the bat are the burrata with tomato, pesto, and balsamic glaze on a ciabatta roll and the marinated tofu with pickled daikon and radish, cilantro and chilies, sesame sticks, and gochujang mayo on a banh mi roll. If you’re a meat lover, you have to try the meatball sandwich with marinara, provolone, goat cheese, and basil pesto on a sub roll, or the hot pastrami with sauerkraut, Swiss, and thousand island. For something a little lighter, go for the hummus toast or a baby arugula and beet salad. 

And even though it’s a sandwich spot, it gives off very whimsical and Instagrammable vibes with its decor scheme featuring flowing florals and greenery everywhere you look. You’re going to want to dine in to soak it all up! You can even take some fresh florals to go to spruce up your apartment!
