Wild Tiger BBQ is as elusive as the rare jungle cat of the same name. It pops up at various farmers markets and restaurants for a brief stint, and in the blink of an eye, it’s gone again. The latest place to get your Wild Tiger BBQ fix is at Bun’d in Pentagon Row. There you’ll find Wild Tiger’s unique blend of Kansas City–style barbecue punctuated with sweet and savory Asian flavors. The all-day menu includes a char siew pulled pork sandwich with pineapple slaw, and a spicy double-dipped chicken sandwich. But the real magic happens at night. The dinner menu available from Friday through Sunday (after 4 p.m.) includes incredible barbecue platters, brisket and broccoli, and sticky ribs. Some of the meat comes courtesy of Sloppy Mamas – a pit master in their own right – but it’s the addition of classic Asian spices and sauces that make the dishes at Wild Tiger BBQ a real standout.
