Led by owner and founder Jason Andelman alongside head chocolatier Emily Anderson, Artisan Confections in Arlington has built quite a following over the last decade and a half. Locals admire Andelman’s commitment to using local, organic, and sustainable ingredients, while Anderson’s creativity is exemplified in the shop’s signature collection of boxed chocolate bonbons with unique flavors like honey thyme, peanut butter & jelly, and vanilla chai caramel. You can also order what the shop calls “everyday treats,” which include everything from gourmet chocolate bars and caramels, to caramel sauce, cocoa powder, and peanut butter bars. Though the retail space temporarily closed its doors this spring, the company is now offering contactless in-store pickup on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, as well as daily delivery services. Just place your order online or by phone, and get ready to enjoy some of the city’s best chocolate.
