Practice Your Figure-Eights at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex

The Washington Capitals’ hockey season might be up in the air, but at least their home is reopened for sports-loving fans. MedStar Capitals Iceplex began allowing recreational events as of June 12, and the team is excited to (safely) offer a full schedule of summer events at the arena. Expect a packed calendar of ice hockey leagues, learn to skate sessions, and other options like broomball or free skate. The pro shop and skate sharpening services are available as well, plus figure skating, hockey, and other camps. And once operations are fully back to normal, you can plan a birthday party or other special event at the rink. Every kid wants to go to a party at the home of the Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals!

Visit the website to see all of the options, plus the Iceplex’s commitment to COVID preparedness. A full list of the requirements and new policies are listed online. Be sure to review the rules, and scheduled times associated with each of the current activities being offered.
