The Arlington Art Center is a fantastic resource for the visual arts in the local community! The venue offers a little bit of everything, from adult art classes to exhibits and children’s classes.  The classes provide a no-judgement zone, so don’t be intimidated if you’re new to art or are trying to expand your skills. Current offerings for adults include experimental painting, an acrylic painting course that’s focused on spontaneity and problem solving. The class is open to all levels of experience and is very relaxed. There’s also a drawing workshop that’s focused on using materials like graphite and charcoal — participants will walk away from the class with a small portfolio. 

In addition to adult classes, the center has a lot more to offer, including birthday parties, summer camps, and children classes on topics like the fundamentals of drawing and drawing people. The center also has nine exhibit areas that regularly feature work from emerging local and regional artists.
