For a Valentine’s Day weekend event that you know will be a treat, register now for the Owl Love Feeding at Potomac Overlook Regional Park on Saturday, February 15. This family-friendly event allows you to observe, feed, and take a quick pic with the beautiful barred owl that lives at the sanctuary. The staff at Potomac Overlook Regional Park can even talk to you about the mating habits of the majestic animals to continue the lovers’ theme for Valentine’s Day. 

To take part, just reserve your spot, and pay $10 per participant. This event lasts from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and is appropriate for folks ages 4 and up. Plus, you can bundle up and take a quick walk around the park’s grounds – it will probably be the only time you visit during this winter, and the area is exceptionally beautiful under the stillness of the season.
