If you love pasta — really love pasta — then you already know about Sfoglina. This restaurant and pasta house was established in 2016 with two locations in DC, and is most recently spreading carbohydrate joy with a new spot in Arlington. Sfoglina is fine dining, but presented in an affordable and comfortable way. Pasta is, of course, the specialty of the house, with a variety of freshly prepared shapes and stuffed pastas accompanied by simple yet expert sauces. Come hungry to enjoy the pasta tasting entrée – three options presented family style. Other entrees include more family-style dishes like short ribs or grilled fish, along with small plates that are best enjoyed prior to a pasta course. The menu at Sfoglina is extensive, making it the kind of place where you can visit lots of times before you duplicate a meal.
