There’s something so magical about holiday light shows, don’t you agree? If you can’t get enough of the twinkling lights during the holiday season, pencil in a visit to the Christmas Illuminations at Mount Vernon. This one-of-a-kind holiday fireworks show will take place two nights only, December 17th and 18th with festivities from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the fireworks closing out the evening at 8:15 p.m. on each night. 

As you arrive at the event, check out the 18th Century Winter Market. You’ll find local artisans like Crown Point Bread Co., Gilson Glassblowers, and Sage & Folly Historial Apothecary for last-minute gifts and tasty treats to bring home. After you shop, take in the history of the Mount Vernon estate with a mansion tour, and a stop at the Winter Encampment for holiday carols, and a look at a working blacksmith shop.
